Renso AI (“Renso AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a corporation incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA, operates the Code Graph product and the website at cg.renso.ai (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it short on purpose.

The short version

• Your source code never leaves your machine. Code Graph analyzes your repositories locally. We never receive, store, or transmit your source code.
• We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, billing, and a usable website.
• We don’t sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you belong to an organization, we store your membership, role, and organization details (such as name and slug).

Billing information

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted pages and handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We retain billing metadata such as invoices, amounts, and subscription status.

Product data (structural only)

When you use the Code Graph CLI or MCP server, your source code stays on your device. If you enable optional cloud sync, only structural metadata — fingerprints and numeric aggregates such as counts and dependency relationships — is sent to our control plane. Your source code, file contents, and the text of your code are never transmitted.

Website usage

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used (for example, pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type). See “Cookies and analytics” below.

Communications

We send transactional emails (such as organization invitations and account notices) through Mailgun. If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner; until then, analytics runs in a cookieless, consent-denied mode. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site’s stored preference in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

• To create and operate your account and organization.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To send service-related communications.
• To secure the Service and meet legal obligations.

We use your information only for these purposes, and we do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We share limited information with providers who process it on our behalf:

• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Google Analytics — website usage measurement (consent-based).
• Mailgun — transactional email delivery.

These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their services to us.

Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see “Your rights”). Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@renso.ai and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International users

We are based in the United States and process information there. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service.
